Kyle Johnson

Intern

Having grown up in the Detroit metro area with family employed in the auto industry, Kyle understands the importance of manufacturing to the U.S. economy. Before coming to AAM, Kyle interned with Rep. Candice Miller (R-Mich.) in her Washington, D.C. office, where he mainly focused on legislative issues. Kyle also interned in the district office of Rep. Fred Upton (R-Mich.), focusing on constituent based issues such as social security, veteran’s affairs, and immigration issues.  Kyle also interned for Colleagues International and a local municipality in Allegan, Mich.

Kyle is a recent graduate of Western Michigan University, where he received bachelor’s degrees in Global & International Studies and Spanish. He studied abroad in Rome in Spring 2013 and is an alumnus of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity. Kyle is also an enthusiast of all sports, but remains an avid fan of Detroit sports and is also a certified scuba diver.
