The Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM), a leading and respected non-partisan voice on the shared interests of American manufacturing and its workers, seeks an organized and highly motivated Vice President for Federal Government Affairs (VPFGA) to formulate strategy and advance AAM’s legislative, regulatory, and advocacy priorities across trade, transportation, industrial decarbonization, and related policy issues.
AAM seeks a candidate capable of engaging stakeholders, lawmakers, and congressional staff; analyzing complex policy issues; and producing high-quality position papers, testimony, regulatory comments, and other work products. Strong writing and oral communication skills are essential for this position. While expertise in AAM’s policy issues is not required, a commitment to our mission is. Capitol Hill or similar legislative or public policy experience is strongly preferred.
This position will report to the Senior Vice President for Government Affairs & Policy and will work collaboratively with the entire AAM staff.
