In the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle, reporter Matt Daneman makes the connection between headphones for his iPod, and lost jobs in New York state:
I go through headphones for my iPod about every six months - the jerking and jostling of listening while running, I assume. On the downside, those headphones have arguably cost 140,200 jobs since 2001 - including 25,600 in western New York.Daneman cites AAM's interactive map on U.S. jobs lost since 2001 due to the trade deficit with China.
