Waving a Report

This week's Economic Policy Institute (EPI) report on U.S. jobs lost due to the trade deficit with China has garnered a lot of media attention. And at least one U.S. Congressman felt c0mpelled to wave the report during a hearing of the House Ways and Means Committee.
As National Journal's Peter Cohn reported:
Rep. Mark Kind (D-WI) waving the EPI report during yesterday’s Ways and Means hearing: But "patience is waning on our side," Kind said, waving an Economic Policy Institute report that cites as many as 2.4 million domestic job losses as a result of China's trade policies. As job losses mount, he said, the issue "becomes more and more politically toxic in this country."
