Cyber Irony

China is at it again, complaining that the U.S. engages in cyber warfare against Beijing. Actually, the truth is that China is constantly hacking U.S. computers.
AAM Senior Analyst Kerri Toloczko learned this firsthand when she served a Congressional appointment on the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission (USCC). As Kerri reported to ManufactureThis, her status as a USCC Commissioner ensured that Beijing would hack her home computer constantly. She finds it ironic that Beijing would want to read her documents and writings, especially since her "democracy-oriented" work is banned on the Internet in China:
We find it ironic that they are likely perusing my blog posts and editorials on China, as they are all published in the public domain under freedoms insured under our nation’s Constitutionally protected speech. The bottom line: Beijing's accusation's of cyber warfare against the U.S. ring hollow. It is China that hacks world computers, while simultaneously denying full Internet freedom to its citizens. Read more about Kerri's home computer being hacked.
