Our friends at Global Trade Watch have put out a new report on toy safety "Closing Santa's Sweasthop, just in time for the holiday season.
As Tradewatch's Todd Tucker notes, "We've globalized our toy supply, but not our consumer protections. The last session of Congress overhauled U.S. toy safety legislation, but didn't touch many of the import-specific problems, which of course provided a big part of the political impetus for the bill in the first place."
