Auto Industry Rescue

lou.JPG  A guest opinion from AAM Field Coordinator Lou Delatore:   "Bankruptcy for the auto industry is not just bankruptcy of the auto workers.  The auto industry encompasses much more than just making automobiles.  Bankruptcy would affect the steel industry, parts dealers, mechanics and the suppliers who then will be shortchanged, causing a ripple effect throughout the whole economy.  If you factor in the loss of manufacturing jobs, along with the outsourcing of jobs to other countries and then add into that the bankruptcy of the auto industry, could result in a depression in our country.  "Bankruptcy is not the answer, it only adds to the existing problems in our economy. Saving good manufacturing jobs with health care and pensions is the sensible answer to our country's crisis." -Lou Delatore, West Virginia

I wrote two articles this

I wrote two articles this morning titled "Wake up and smell the roses" and "Treason" that directly address the issue of why bailouts will not work and why the job losses are going to get worse.

Please read those articles and help put America back to work so that our retailers, manufacturers and raw material producers will be able to stay in business and put American's back to work in America.

I was surprised to see Ben

I was surprised to see Ben Stein support the auto industry on Yahoo Finance. Of course, most the "investor class" type people responses were negative, but I think they've about wrecked the country, so hopefully they don't count any more. Its time to just get to work and say phooey on Wall Street. Here's the link:

Of course, it is hopeless without making the Asians stop manipulating their currency, but at least there's a celebrity voice saying something good.
