The Chinese Drywall Investigation

U.S Consumer Product Safety Commission chairman Inez Tenenbaum recently visited China. She left suppliers of Chinese drywall with a request to "do what is fair and just" regarding the drywall crisis facing many U.S. homeowners due to a surge in Chinese drywall usage during the housing boom from 2004 to 2007.
The CPSC estimates that as many as 100,000 homes may be affected and is hopeful for a resolution as the U.S. and China cooperate in an investigation of tainted drywall.
