Dave Johnson at Campaign for America's Future has authored a terrific expose on "representatives of foreign interests lobbying in the US for trade policies that benefit companies in other countries."  Johnson notes two problems of great concern: 1. Organizations working to "convince Americans to hand over our manufacturing capacity to other countries." 2. Groups that suggest American efforts to deal with foreign protectionism are themselves "protectionist." Even more unsettling, Johnson says that a number of policy and think tank groups are clearly arguing in favor of foreign interests, but have never registered as representing foreign agents.  How ethical is this?
