The House Ways and Means Committee may mark up China currency legislation as early as Friday.  Peter Navarro calls out the Business Roundtable and Chamber of Commerce for opposing China currency legislation.  David Leonhardt spews the worst kind of conventional wisdom on China’s currency.  Dean Baker responds.  Nucor CEO Dan DiMicco offers his prescriptions for the economy.  (He sounds a lot like a labor Democrat!)  The Commerce Department sides with domestic coated paper makers and their workers in a case against subsidized products from China and Indonesia.  Steve Rattner, the former car czar, says unions were not to blame for the woes of GM and Chrysler.
