"Leveling the Playing Field"

Last week, U.S. Commerce Secretary Gary Locke announced specific trade measures designed to help American companies compete in the global market.
According to MetalMiner, a blog on sourcing and trading intelligence for global metal markets, "these rules coincide with a major plank of the Obama Administration’s trade policies – to double exports within 5 years."
MetalMiner also reflects on which of the 14 measures will specifically and significantly affect countries with illegal trade practices, such as China.
