Sen. Robert Byrd: A champion of U.S. manufacturing

Sen. Robert Byrd (D-WV) passed away early this morning. He was 92 years old.
Author of the Byrd Amendment (also known as the Continued Dumping and Subsidies Offset Act, CDSOA), Sen. Byrd was an ardent advocate of domestic U.S. manufacturing and co-author of the "Super 301" clause in the U.S. Trade Act.
Sen. Byrd was also a staunch supporter of investing in infrastructure who frequently championed the use of domestic supply chains.
He will be remembered as a true champion of fair trade who fought tirelessly for U.S. manufacturing.

This true historian, of our
This true historian, of our Senate has seen some of the worst times and has been apart of making much better times in our countries history. Senator Byrd has champion many issues, to keep manufacturing and fair trade in the open to advance the American Dream. He will be at best hard to replace and, will be truely Missed.
