Woe is us! Protectionism is on the rise! At least that's what the advocates of allowing the importation of toxic toys, transportation of goods all across America by polluting foreign trucks, and allowing foreign companies to be subsidized by American taxpayers would like you to think.
What will China stimulate when it implements its stimulus program? Could it be the excess capacity in such industries as steel, alluminum and cement? And where whould China try to sell all those materials not needed in their own country?
The Europeans are still on the fence about spending more on stimulus in the run-up to the G-20 Summit on April 2.
And the Obama Administration begins to invest in clean energy manufacturing facilities in the U.S.
