Frederick, MD: Another Buy America Resolution Gets Passed

The Frederick, Maryland City Council voted last night to pass a "Buy America" Resolution by a 4 to 1 vote.
AAM Action Field Coordinator Lou Delatore was on the ground in Frederick and helped to push the resolution. The Frederick News-Post noted: "The change to the policy was prompted by a resolution to encourage the use of federal stimulus funds on American goods and services when possible, which was revisited and approved by the board at its Thursday meeting."
To date, more than 100 Buy America resolutions have been passed throughout the country at the state and local levels.
