RADIO: AAM's Scott Paul on Leslie Marshall Radio Show, May 20, 2013

In the wake of the recent Bangladesh garment factory disaster, where more than 1,000 workers died, Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM) President Scott Paul was interviewed on The Leslie Marshall Radio Show last night.
Paul said that the Bangladesh factory collapse is tragic, and points to the question of why Americans are buying from overseas producers who utilize poor working conditions.
As AAM's polling demonstrates, Americans want to buy made in USA items. And American shops can produce these clothes.
So why arent we manufacturing here, and how do we start?
