Will Hu-Obama Visit Soothe U.S.-China Relations?

Reuters reports that the upcoming meeting between President Hu and President Obama may alleviate tensions that have been building between the two economic powers for some time. 

However, Reuters claims that there are still points of contention that will need to be addressed at the summit, including:

 

 

  • The growing U.S.-China trade deficit
  • Intellectual property rights
  • Undervaluation of the yuan
