The U.S. trade deficit rose in March, including with China.  But is anyone paying attention?

San Francisco's BART Transit system made a final determination on purchasing 775 new subway cars to replace its aging fleet.  Unfortunately, the BART board chose to go with the option of a 60% made-in-USA product rather than 95% made-in-USA.

A group of Senators are urging strengthened Buy America preferences in a pending highway bill.

Is China's economy slowing down?  And will this help bring more manufacturing back to the U.S.?
