"Steelers" and "Packers" = local teams, local jobs

The New York Times ran a contest that asked a simple question: what do the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Green Bay Packers have in common?

The answer: both teams are named after the local industry that supports their hometown. The Steelers emerged from Pittsburgh's steelmaking foundries.  And the Packers honor the local meatpacking industry.
