Republican hopefuls may be catching on to the China problem
Anyone want to take a guess how long the Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM) has been saying that GOP voters are deeply concerned about unbalanced U.S. trade with China?
We published a poll in June of last year that showed serious voter concerns about debt with China, lost manufacturing jobs, a declining industrial base, etc. Simply put, voters want something done about the "China problem."
It looks like the early field of 2012 Republican presidential hopefuls are finally picking up on what the American people are saying. As The Politico's Alexander Burns reports,
The 2012 foreign policy debate is just getting underway but already the Republican presidential field has picked a favorite overseas punching bag: China.
Isn't it nice to see potential leaders are catching up to the popular consensus.
