Pedaling Through the Recession

Ahh the bicycle. A classic holiday gift. Whether for a first-timer or seasoned cyclist, a bike is sure to put a smile on the face of whomever receives it. After all, in these tough economic times, who has the money for gas? Bikes are easy on the environment, too. Here's a sampling of some great bicycle companies that manufacture their products in the U.S.
Trauco manufactures high-end American-made mountain bikes and Waterford Precision Cycles focuses on hybrid and racing bikes.
Trailmate makes specialty tricycles for adults and kids with special needs, and all of their products are made in the USA as well.
Finally, Aerofast Bicycle Co. makes cool vintage bikes and cruisers, perfect for pedaling around town, and handmade in Florida.
