Obama to talk manufacturing at Carnegie Mellon University

Posted by Anonymous on 06/23/2011

Tomorrow President Obama will visit Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA to discuss the importance of manufacturing to the U.S. economy. He will also highlight ways in which the government, businesses and universities can work together to improve the American industrial base and create jobs.

We hope the President takes the advice of David Bourne, a Carnegie Mellon professor who wrote a chapter about the importance of advanced manufacturing in our book Manufacturing a Better Future for America.

Watch President Obama's speech live tomorrow at 11:00am EST.
