New poll demonstrates public support for manufacturing, investment in infrastructure

According to a new poll conducted by Clarus Research Group, 70% of voters would be “somewhat more inclined” or “much more inclined” to vote for a presidential candidate who "has a very strong position on strengthening manufacturing industries and creating more manufacturing jobs.”

Voters demonstrated a similar favorability toward candidates who support improving infrastructure, with 65% indicating that they would be “somewhat more inclined” or “much more inclined” to vote for a candidate who "has a very strong position on rebuilding America's infrastructure--including roads, bridges, flood control, drainage and water systems.”

The fact that voters care about manufacturing isn't new to us.  As anational bipartisan poll released by the Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM) last August demonstrated, voters across the political spectrum see manufacturing as central to the nation’s economic success.
