Trade imbalance with China
China has had a good edge in production and trade for years. US politicians are now blaming China as the culprit and as a currency manipulator.
The US trade regulations and business practices are set by US government composed of elected representatives.
Corporations have been pouring millions of dollars to the campaigns of representatives to set regulations and practices that help them make money by shifting production to China.
It is the free American voter who is to be blamed for the trade imbalance and not China who has just followed the path democratically chosen by US voters.
How would it be called if US would be on the edge and not China?: Free trade, because US would just be following the path chosen by China?
