Loggerhead Apparel was formed in 2009 with a couple of goals in mind: To generate business for South Carolina’s historic textile industry and to aid conservation effort for the loggerhead turtle, which nest on the state’s coastline. In fact, the company advertises on its website that 10 percent of revenue from the sale of Loggerhead Apparel shirts is donated to local conservation causes!
