How did your Senators vote on today's cloture vote for China currency legislation?
Posted by scapozzola on 10/06/2011
This morning, the U.S. Senate passed a cloture motion (by a vote of 62-38) to proceed to a full vote on S. 1619, the Currency Exchange Rate Oversight Reform Act of 2011. The bill would provide recourse for U.S. manufacturers who have been adversely affected by China's undervalued currency.
The vote marks an important step toward full passage, and demonstrated the Senate's strong bipartisan determination to act.
