After four years of record p
rofits and the best first quarter in their history, Baltimore, MD-based manufacturer Marlin Steel Wire is set to expand floor space in their Baltimore City plant. Marlin Steel cites a surge in local demand for wire products as the source of their record earnings and the reason for their subsequent plans to expand their facility:
“We feel a commitment to Baltimore, with its excellent port, BWI Airport, road and transit system, and talented local professionals so there was never a thought of leaving the area. This infrastructure, combined with the local vendors and financial services, makes it easy to remain in the area,” said Drew Greenblatt, President of Marlin Steel Wire Products.
