Getting the word out on the fight for U.S. auto parts jobs

Posted by scapozzola on 04/24/2012

Due in large part to surging imports of heavily subsidized auto parts from China, the U.S. has lost more than 400,000 auto supply chain jobs since 2000.  Another 1.6 million U.S. jobs are at risk unless China's illegal trading practices are curtailed.

Helping to get the word out that the U.S. needs to take action are activists from the United Steelworkers (USW).  Pictured above is Brian Schoolcraft signing a postcard to his elected officials, asking them to investigate auto parts trade with China.
