Final takeaways from the MEP Manufacturing Innovations 2011 conference
The Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM)’s booth at Manufacturing Innovations 2011 drew hundreds of visitors, and the support for a National Manufacturing Strategy can been seen all across the country. Visitors from Oregon to Florida, North Dakota to Arizona, and everywhere in between know that manufacturing is key to our economy and that more work needs to be done to encourage companies to open factories in the United States.
Attendees know that American innovation can lead to long-term success, and that investments in American jobs will pay off for years to come. With a level playing field, the United States can still be the most productive and competitive place to manufacture.
People want to Buy American. Americans want to spend their money to support American jobs. How soon until Congress wakes up and takes action?
