The space shuttle Atlantis completed its final mission today, landing safely at Cape Canaveral, Florida. Atlantis' return marks the end of America's space shuttle program.
In total, U.S. space shuttles conducted 135 missions, covering 542 million miles and circling the Earth 21,150 times.
