When tumblr user Peaceloveandcats posted this image we took a lot of interest. It's not every day you see such bold "Made in the USA" pronouncements plastered all over the packaging of electronics.
Interestingly it was a year ago today that we reported on Element Electronics' pledge to begin producing flat screen TVs in Detroit. Now, those televisions have hit the market. While the tumblr poster saw one such television at a Target, Element's website lists other places their products are available.
It's worth noting that not all of Element's products are made in the United States, so shop carefully!
