China...Made in the USA
Posted by jeckert on 12/21/2010
Of all the ironic things to be made in the USA, an AAM Field Coordinator, Mickey Bolt, found a china company that is committed to domestic production.
The Homer Laughlin China Company has been providing jobs for potters in the Ohio Valley since 1871. In addition to their popular Fiesta Dinnerware, which is among the most collection china in the world, they also manufacture an extensive line of dinnerware that is sold in large quantities to hotels and restaurants around the world.
Visit the Homer Laughlin China Company website.

Rachel
Great find Mick! They even have a factory tour.
How can we make manufacturing sexy?
I have to say that I love to hear about progressive leaders who show commitment to our country. Way to go!!!
We have to find more companies and inspire them to manufacture their goods here!
I have to find a way to interview the owner!
Thanks for sharing,
