According to Kenneth Gronbach, a “demographer and futurist,” changing demographics in the U.S. may eventually give us a competitive edge over China when it comes the creation and retention of a skilled manufacturing workforce.

Gronbach told Plastics Today that he believes rapid U.S. population growth “will bring new blood to the U.S.'s work force, leadership, and consumer base at a time when other nations, particularly China, will age rapidly, with the Chinese profoundly impacted by its long-standing one-child policy.”

Interesting theory.  Read more here.
