Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM) is in Detroit, at the Good Jobs Green Jobs Conference
The Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM) is attending the final of four Good Jobs Green Jobs (GJGJ) 2012 regional conferences in Detroit, Michigan. Hundreds of business leaders, community activists, elected officials, and environmental and labor groups have assembled to discuss ideas for investment in a green 21st Century economy:
How do we ensure that clean energy technologies are manufactured here in the United States? How are cleaner, more efficient cars revitalizing the American auto industry and creating good jobs? At Good Jobs, Green Jobs Midwest — currently underway in Detroit, MI at the Renaissance Center — we are exploring the unique challenges and opportunities to creating good, green jobs in the Midwest.
Earlier today, AAM Deputy Director Scott Boos moderated a panel discussion, U.S. Manufacturing in the Clean Energy Economy, that focused on how state government can implement and improve Buy America policies.
