AAM's Making Noise as Hu-Obama Visit Commences

The Wall Street Journal reports that last year, China saw a 9.3% slide in their rare-earth metal exports and there are fears across the globe of the rising nation tightening the reins on supply of these rare earths as prices have risen significantly.

The WSJ mentioned AAM as one of the primary groups in Washington that is turning up the heat and putting the pressure on Obama to hold President Hu accountable for China's unfair trade practices:

The Washington trade group Alliance for American Manufacturing is among those pressing U.S. President Barack Obama to seek supply assurances from Chinese President Hu Jintao in their meetings this week.
