AAM applauds the 28 new cosponsors of the Currency Reform for Fair Trade Act (HR639)
The Alliance for American Manufacturing (AAM) would like to thank the 28 members of Congress who recently signed on to the Currency Reform for Fair Trade Act (HR639). They join a bipartisan group of 161 cosponsors. (135 Democrats and 54 Republicans.)
The Currency Reform Fair Trade Act would impose reasonable penalties to level the playing field when our trading partners manipulate their currency. This bill involves no spending, would create up to 2.25 million jobs, and would reduce the budget deficit by up to $71.4 billion each year.
